The estate extends on the whole on 100 ha of which 44 are planted with wine. It was born firstly as cattlefarming and milk production together with the running of the existing vineyards and the setting of new ones, while the first bottling line dates back to 1992.

The cultivation of vineyards is historically of ‘Gavi’ or ‘Cortese di Gavi’, an autochthonous vine which is named from the village with the same name and in this area it shows its best features thanks to mixed calcareous clayey soils with sand bed.

The farm with its vineyards in the neighbouring Alto Monferrato puts together with the cultivation of Cortese considerable yields of ‘Dolcetto’ and ‘Barbera’ grapes.
